Introductory blah

Hello. This is a little interim blog while we wait to get our servers up and running properly - while it might be worth getting a place up for our work, it certainly takes time!

Anyway, we're an Edinburgh based arts collective working in most areas, but specialising in theatre, film and new media. Our main focus is on producing art which represents the challenges of our changing world - and how those have changed in the past five years! [it seems odd that it's already 2019 - I still feel like we've only been together six months or so.]

We were going to stay offline until we could get our own setup finished - ideally we want to remain self-controlled - but we wanted to share a little bit of our latest project with you as we go.

One of the things that has struck us over and over as we've travelled with our work is how communities respond to current problems. Outbreaks of REDS, or food shortages, or crime - all things that affect us personally, but which really take their toll on a community level. So we thought we'd try to bring some of our work to bear on this and explore these problems.

Our approach has been heavily inspired by the works of Augusto Boal, especially his Theatre of the Oppressed. We're currently working on staging our first workshops to test out our ideas and play around with them, but we're hoping that we'll be able to give you a look at what we're doing soon - including some advice on how to use our approach in your own area.

Stay tuned!
